SUMMARY:Webinar 'Quantifying the Invisible: Centering Grassroots Women Green Entrepreneurs in Climate Finance and Policy'
DESCRIPTION:Exploring new evidence to strengthen recognition\, financing\, and policy support for grassroots women driving green transitions\n\n\n\nGrassroots women green entrepreneurs play a critical yet often under-recognized role in advancing climate resilience\, supporting sustainable livelihoods\, and driving local green economies. This webinar brings together policymakers\, financial institutions\, practitioners\, and grassroots support organizations to examine how stronger evidence can enhance recognition\, inform policy\, and expand access to climate finance. \n\n\n\nParticipants will gain insight into an innovative approach for capturing and quantifying these often-overlooked contributions and explore the implications for more inclusive climate finance\, policy design\, and support systems. The discussion will highlight how improved evidence can help make grassroots women’s economic and environmental contributions more visible\, valued\, and actionable within climate and development agendas. \n\n\n\nThe Greenovations 2 Webinar Series\n\n\n\nThis webinar series is presented by the Greenovations project\, implemented by the United Nations University and consortium of partners\, to share key findings and insights with key actors to foster cross-regional dialogue and collaboration. \n\n\n\nFind out more
