The webinar series takes place in the frame of the Greenovations Africa project to bring together actors and stakeholders within the green entrepreneurship and innovation space to address the existing silos of engagement and co-create synergies within the green innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. In bringing together youth and women green innovators, entrepreneurs, actors, and stakeholders within the green sector, the Webinar series aims to collaboratively map a way forward in strengthening and supporting the green entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Objectives:
Present initial results of the Greenovations Africa project
Stimulate discussion on challenges and mechanisms in gender dimension, the policy and the enabling environment
Open discussions on emerging pertinent issues within the green innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem
Create synergies with strategic stakeholders and strategic partners
Create awareness of innovative multi-stakeholder collaboration strategies for strengthening capacity of youth and women innovators and entrepreneurs in climate action
The series consists of seven events featuring panels and presentations around three thematic clusters: (i) Gender; (ii) Enabling Environment; and (iii) Emerging Issues in Green Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Each session consists of a 45 minutes presentation and a 15 minute Q&A between the speaker and the (online) audience.
All lectures are free and open to all upon registration.
